Again, trying to understand if LM will work for us....

What happens if the licensing server can not be reached from the client application due to latent connectivity or some other connection issue?  What will be the result for the end user using the client applciation?

If the client application cannot access the licence server, it will treat the installation as valid until it is able to connect. Your application will therefore behave as if the licence were valid.

[UPDATE]

The LicenceMasterClient assembly (Dotcom.Modules.LicenceMaster.Client.dll) that ships with Licence Master v1.1.1 introduces a new method to deal with this situation on the LicensingUtility class. The method is CanConnect(). Your application can call this to determine whether a connection to the licence server can be made, and can then choose its own response accordingly.

Note that the InstallationValid() and GetInstallationStatus() methods have not changed behaviour to avoid breaking existing integrations.
